The Head of the Ministry of Defense of the People's Republic of China will visit Belarus from August 16 to 18

Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu plans to visit several military facilities of its armed forces during his visit to Belarus from August 16 to 18.

This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.
"From August 16 to 18, an official visit of a member of the Central Military Council, the State Council, the Minister of Defense of the People's Republic of China, Colonel-General Li Shangfu, will take place in the Republic of Belarus," the press service informed.
During the visit, meetings are planned with the leadership of the Belarusian defense ministry to "discuss topical issues of bilateral military cooperation in areas of mutual interest." "It is also planned for the head of the Chinese Defense Ministry to visit a number of military facilities of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus," the press service noted, writes TASS.
