The aviation authorities of the United States and China will increase the number of permitted passenger flights to each other's countries to 24 per week by October 29.

This was reported by Bloomberg with reference to a statement by the US Department of Transportation.
According to him, the intermediate stage in this agreement will be an increase in the number of flights from the current 12 to 18 per week. In the future, 24 flights will be distributed between the three largest American and six Chinese airlines.
The main goal of increasing the number of flights is to maintain a competitive balance and fair and equal opportunities for American and Chinese air carriers, the ministry noted.
