It will be possible to make group trips to China without a visa from August 1.The visa-free return will take place in stages, said Dmitry Gorin, Vice-president of the Russian Union of Travel Industry (PCT).
Thanks to this format of trips, tourists will no longer have to spend time on obtaining a visa, in addition, it will significantly save expenses – after all, the cost of the document can exceed $ 200.
According to Dmitry Gorin, visa-free travel will be a factor that will increase the mutual tourist flows of Russia and China. He also noted that the formation of updated package offers is now beginning. 364 Russian companies were included in the lists for conducting work within the framework of visa-free exchange.
Now, according to Gorin, flights between Russia and China are operated by five Russian and seven Chinese airlines. At the same time, due to the fact that the number of traffic increases, the price of flights decreases.
"We are also waiting for flights to Hainan Island, where visas have already been canceled, but there are no direct flights. Now it is possible to travel there in transit through other airports," the PCT Vice President added.
Recall that Russia and China are ready to receive groups of tourists on a reciprocal basis within the framework of an intergovernmental agreement on visa-free group tourist exchanges. It assumes that organized tourists in a group of five to 50 people can visit a neighboring country without obtaining a visa and stay there for up to 15 days, writes TASS.
