Primary and secondary school will not allowed students to bring mobile phones to the schools.This information was said by the Ministry of Education.
They said that the decision was made because widespread use of mobile phones have hindered school management and students' development.
Also they added that they have taken this decision to protect student’s eyes and make sure they focus on study and prevent them from becoming addictive to the internet and online games.
Let us note if parents want their children to bring mobile phones to schools they have to submit a written application. It will allow students to take their mobile phones to schools but these ones will be left for custody during school time.
Schools should set out rules for the management of mobile phones and designate people to take custody of mobile phones brought to schools, it said.
Moreover, schools should not assign or ask students to do homework using mobile phones and they should set up public phones and teacher hotlines for communication between parents and students, as chinadaily informs.
