"We have more than 90 pharmaceutical companies operating in the Moscow region, every fourth tablet in the country is produced in the Moscow region. Today, pharma is one of the most attractive industries for investors. For our part, it is important for us to ensure import substitution not only in terms of finished medicines, but also substances. India is already implementing serious projects here, and now China is coming to us. The signing of an agreement with the Northern Ocean company will allow launching a new plant in Voskresensk in six months. The company will produce the substance heparin sodium - an active substance that prevents the formation of blood clots. The implementation of such a project is not only the economy, taxes and jobs, but also vital production for healthcare, for people suffering from diseases of the cardiovascular system," the press service of the Moscow region government quoted Vorobyov as saying.
The press service added that the volume of investments is estimated at 1 billion rubles, 200 jobs will be created. This will be Russia's largest private project from China. This production compensates for the Russian Federation's need for a pharmacological substance, the main supplier of which is now China, writes TASS.
"I was in different regions of Russia, we were choosing sites for production and eventually settled on the Moscow region. This is a very strong region, we have received effective regional support from the regional government. Under the "Land for 1 ruble" program, a plot was provided, in fact, for free - for us this is a huge support as a manufacturer. Also, the Moscow region government is helping to coordinate various documents for the speedy construction of our plant," said Wang Yongqing, co-founder of the Northern Ocean company, his words are quoted in the message.
