China to open visa centers in Moscow and St. Petersburg

803f0cf4256af628f868f7f9f6660085To improve the efficiency of the Chinese Embassy in Russia and the Consulate General in St. Petersburg, China has decided to open visa centers, the Consulate General reports in its Telegram channel.
The diplomatic mission explains that they will appear in Moscow and St. Petersburg. "Currently, the Chinese visa centers have completed the main preparatory work, are negotiating with Russian partners on cooperation issues, have not officially opened yet and are temporarily unable to accept applications," the report says. The Consulate General clarifies that as soon as everything is agreed, the Chinese side will open the centers as soon as possible.
Now the Chinese Embassy in Russia and the Consulates General in St. Petersburg, Khabarovsk, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk and Vladivostok are engaged in issuing visas, RIA Novosti writes.
They have launched online visa application forms and an online appointment system.
"Considering that the preparation of documents, booking time for their submission, reviewing documents and issuing a visa take some time, we recommend planning a trip to China in advance," the diplomatic mission advises.
