In 2023, the volume of oil supplies to China will grow even more. This was reported to journalists by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak.
"If we take only the People's Republic of China, then we have delivered 67 million tons of oil. This is almost a third of all the oil that we export. And part of it is pipeline supplies," he said.
"By [route] Skovorodino-Mohe [was delivered] 30 million tons, through Kazakhstan - 10 million tons. 40 million tons are stable [pipeline] supplies. And part of it is already the redirection of sea traffic, which we have through ports such as Novorossiysk, Kozmino, Primorsk, which is 26 million tons. I think these volumes will increase in the future," he added.
Novak previously said that Russia's oil exports in 2022 amounted to 242 million tons, an increase of 7.6%, writes TASS.
