The trade turnover between the United States and China in January — February decreased by 17.4 percent

The trade turnover between the United States and China in January-February 2023 decreased by 17.4%, amounting to 101.847 billion dollars, according to data released on Tuesday by the General Customs Administration of the People's Republic of China.

Nevertheless, the United States remained in the top three of China's leading trading partners, along with ASEAN and the European Union.
According to Chinese customs data, exports from China to the United States in January-February fell by 21.8% year-on-year and amounted to 71.569 billion dollars, while the United States imported goods to China by 30.278 billion, which is 5% less than in the same period last year.
By the end of 2022, the trade turnover between China and the United States increased by 0.6% and amounted to 759.427 billion dollars, RIA Novosti writes.
