Three Chinese air carriers have resumed flights to Sheremetyevo Airport

Three Chinese air carriers - China Eastern Airlines, Sichuan Airlines and Beijing Capital Airlines - have resumed operating flights on routes from Chinese cities to Sheremetyevo International Airport. This is stated in the press service of the airport.

"From February 21 to February 26, 2023, the three largest Chinese airlines resumed flights from Chinese cities to Sheremetyevo International Airport," the report says.
Currently, six Chinese air carriers operate flights from Sheremetyevo, including Hainan Airlines, Air China and China Southern Airlines. In February, the frequency of flights was increased: Air China - from 1 to 7 flights, Hainan Airlines - from 1 to 2 flights per week.
"The opening of direct flights to Chengdu, Qingdao and Shanghai from Sheremetyevo will meet the expected demand for flights to these destinations associated with the resumption of organized tourism and the development of business relations between China and Russia," the airport said in a statement, writes TASS.
