The third joint competition of international scientific projects was launched by the foundations of Russia and China

The Russian Science Foundation (RNF) and the State Fund of Natural Sciences of China (NSFC) begin accepting applications for the third joint competition of international scientific projects.

This was reported on Wednesday in the press service of the RNF.
"The examination of the projects will be carried out both from the Russian and Chinese sides independently of each other. Only those teams that manage to get a positive assessment from experts from both countries will be able to count on funding," the press release says.
The amount of one grant from the RNF will be from 4 to 7 million rubles annually, and the scientific projects themselves are planned to be implemented in 2024-2026.
The competition is open to research by international research teams in the following fields of knowledge: chemistry and materials sciences; biology and life sciences; basic research for medicine; agricultural sciences; humanities and social sciences. Applications will be accepted until April 24, its results will be announced on October 31 of this year.
Previously, 97 Russian-Chinese research teams have already been supported within the framework of the bilateral partnership, writes TASS.
