Gold production in China in 2022 increased by 13.09%

The total gold production in China by the end of 2022 increased by 13.09% and reached 372.048 tons.

This was reported by Xinhua news agency on Wednesday.
According to him, the consumption of this precious metal fell by 10.63%, amounting to 1001.74 tons, while the demand for gold jewelry also decreased by 8.01% in annual terms and reached 654.32 tons.
Investments in gold bars and coins in China have fallen even more: in 2022, their volume decreased by 17.23%, to 258.94 tons.
