The Beijing administration has allowed local travel companies to resume organizing events related to group tourism in the Chinese capital, including city tours, flights and hotel reservations.

This was reported on Tuesday by Xinhua news agency with reference to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism.
At the request of the regulator, before the trip, it is necessary to measure the body temperature of all participants of the group tour, including the guide and the driver of tourist transport. Tourists with deviations from the norm are not allowed to participate in events. Guides must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and must provide a health code for verification before the start of the tour. Participants must wear a mask throughout the trip.
Last week, China's online tour operators noted a sharp increase in search queries for airline tickets and travel packages after the government announced a softening of anti-smoking measures across the country.
At the beginning of the month, the State Committee on Hygiene and Health of the People's Republic of China issued a statement announcing the decision to significantly mitigate anti-weed measures throughout the country. The most significant step was the abolition of the mandatory certificate of a negative coronavirus test for travel between different regions of China.
