Xi Jinping arrives on a three-day visit to Saudi Arabia

Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived on Wednesday on a visit to the capital of Saudi Arabia, the city of Riyadh.

The visit of the Chinese leader will last three days, during which he will meet with the Saudi monarch, the leaders of the member countries of the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Persian Gulf, will take part in the Sino-Arab summit. According to available information, 30 leaders of Arab countries and organizations have been invited to the upcoming meetings in Riyadh.
According to the Saudi newspaper Okaz, in the coming days in Riyadh, China and Saudi Arabia will sign a document on strategic partnership, as well as a plan for harmonization between the long-term programs of the two states: the Saudi Vision 2030 program and the Chinese One Belt, One Road initiative.
In addition, more than 20 preliminary agreements worth more than 110 billion Saudi riyals (over $29 billion) will be signed on the sidelines of the Sino-Saudi summit, TASS writes.
