"China is against the use of nuclear weapons, as well as threats to use them," the foreign ministry quoted the head of the Chinese government as saying. "It cannot be allowed to be used, nuclear war is unacceptable."
As Li Keqiang clarified, Beijing stands for the preservation of a peaceful international order. He also pointed out the importance of observing the UN Charter.
"We support all efforts to peacefully resolve the crisis situation [in Ukraine]," the head of government added. The Prime Minister of the State Council stressed that in the current situation it is extremely important to "adhere to a rational position and maintain restraint."
At the end of October, the head of the radiation, chemical and biological protection forces of the Russian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, said that "two organizations of Ukraine have specific instructions to create a so-called dirty bomb, the work is at the final stage."
