China introduces new rules for the control of the transportation of dangerous railway goods from December 1

Since December 1, the Chinese authorities have been establishing new rules for controlling the transportation of dangerous goods by rail.

This was announced on Wednesday by the Trade Mission of Russia in China.
As specified on his Telegram page, earlier the Ministry of Transport of China published a document specifying the list of goods whose transportation poses a potential danger. It specifies enhanced control measures at all stages of transportation. "The new edition of the "Rules for the Control and Regulation of the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Rail" comes into effect in China from December 1, 2022," the report says.
According to the decision of the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China, dangerous items now include not only items listed in the Chinese list of names of dangerous railway goods, but also items of trade nomenclature designated by other regulatory legal acts and state standards.
As for the regulation of transportation, the control rules in the new edition establish a more clearly defined range of responsibilities of the shipper. The customer must conclude agreements on ensuring the safety of transportation of dangerous goods with the relevant organizations.
