The world's largest duty-free store will open in Hainan on October 28

The new store will feature at least 800 Chinese and foreign brands.

China Duty Free Group ("China Duty Free Group") will open the world's largest duty-free trade complex in Haikou on Hainan on October 28. This was reported by the propaganda department of the local party committee.
According to him, at least 800 well-known Chinese and foreign brands will be represented in the new store. The area of its premises is 280 thousand sq. m. However, in combination with other commercial facilities of the complex, including retail outlets with ordinary taxation, hotel and office sector, the total area reaches 930 thousand sq. m
. The slogan of the new shopping center translates as "Happy duty free - more comfort". As noted, this duty-free store "will constantly make surprises to customers."
According to Chinese media, the construction of the complex in Haikou has already been completed, only some finishing work remains. Maintenance personnel are being trained. The complex is located on the shore of the Qiongzhou Strait, near the ferry crossing that connects the island with the mainland. It is assumed that this facility will significantly enhance the development of the consumer sector in Hainan, writes TASS.
