Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan and China Sirodjiddin Muhriddin and Wang Yi signed an interdepartmental cooperation program for the next two years in Dushanbe

This was announced on Monday by the Information and Press Department of the Tajik Foreign Ministry.

"Following the meeting, a program of cooperation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and the People's Republic of China for 2023-2024 was signed," the message reads.
The ministry added that Muhriddin and Wang Yi reached an agreement on further strengthening cooperation in all areas. They also took part in the opening ceremony of the joint center for professional training and training of specialists - the Liu Ban workshop and in the ceremony of the official transfer of a batch of coronavirus vaccines by the Chinese side to Tajikistan. Earlier it was reported that on Monday, China delivered more than 2.5 million doses of CoronaVac to Tajikistan as humanitarian aid.
In turn, the press service of the Tajik parliament reported that Wang Yi also met with the chairman of the upper house of Parliament, Rustam Emomali, with whom he discussed issues of expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation. It is noted that the interlocutors also expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation within the UN, SCO and other international and regional organizations, as well as the level of interaction between Dushanbe and Beijing in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The Chinese Foreign Minister arrived in Dushanbe on an official visit on Sunday, he has already met with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.
