The conversation between US President Biden and Chinese leader Xi Jinping lasted more than two hours.

The telephone conversation between US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday lasted more than two hours, the White House press pool reports.
"Biden completed a telephone conversation with Xi Jinping, they talked for 2 hours and 17 minutes," the pool informs with reference to an administration representative.
Earlier, the White House confirmed that Biden and Xi Jinping will hold a telephone conversation on Thursday. This is the fifth conversation between the two leaders and their first contact since March. The White House talks about the desire to manage competition with China and keep communication channels open.
