China's foreign exchange reserves in June decreased to the lowest volumes since March 2020

1087793The foreign exchange reserves of the People's Bank of China (Central Bank) in June decreased by 1.81% and amounted to $3.071 trillion.

This was announced on Thursday by the deputy head of the State Administration of Currency Control of the People's Republic of China Wang Chunying.
Over the past month, they have decreased by $56.5 billion. The current volume of foreign exchange reserves has become the lowest since March 2020.
According to statistics, in 2020, the Central Bank of China increased foreign exchange reserves by 3.5%, to $ 3.22 trillion, and in 2021 - by another 1%, to about $ 3.25 trillion.
