This was stated at a meeting of the UN Security Council on food security on Thursday by China's Permanent representative to the UN Zhang Jun.
"It is important to return agricultural products and fertilizers from Ukraine, Russia and Belarus to the world markets. We welcome the efforts of the UN Secretary General in this direction," he said.
Earlier, the UN Secretary General announced his intention to seek the restoration of grain exports from Ukraine, as well as fertilizers from Russia and Belarus. As the permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasily Nebenzia noted, Russia is ready to supply fertilizers, but this is hindered by sanctions, and the export of Ukrainian grain is hindered by the actions of Kiev itself.
