China did not support the resolution of Canada and Poland on Ukraine in the IAEA

The PRC opposed the resolution of Canada and Poland on nuclear safety in Ukraine.

According to representatives of China, it goes beyond the mandate of the IAEA and contains many politicized elements
"The resolution clearly goes beyond the mandate of the IAEA, introducing many politicized elements to the detriment of the independence of the IAEA as a professional international organization. It is unacceptable that these countries, ignoring constructive proposals for an amendment, stubbornly pushed the resolution for a vote," said Wang Qun, China's permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna.
Earlier, NIA-China informed that China did not support sanctions against Russia. The PRC stated that they intend to maintain normal trade, economic and financial exchanges.
