China calls on Russia and Ukraine to negotiate

The Chinese Foreign Ministry calls on Ukraine and Russia to sit down at the negotiating table and solve the problems that have arisen.

This was announced by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during a telephone conversation with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba.
According to the Chinese Foreign Minister, the country supports all "constructive international efforts that contribute to a political solution."
Recall that on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation in connection with the situation in the Donbass.
The operation was carried out in order to protect people who, according to the president, "have been subjected to bullying and genocide by the Kiev regime for eight years."
