The volume of customs tax revenues of the People's Republic of China in 2021 increased by 17.7%

By the end of 2021, the volume of China's customs tax revenues amounted to 2.01 trillion yuan, an increase of 17.7% year-on-year.

This indicator for the first time crossed the mark of 2 trillion yuan (about 313.75 billion dollars), according to the data of the Main Customs Administration of the People's Republic of China.
The country's customs authorities have deepened the reform of taxation and tax administration, and tax revenues in 2021 exceeded the target set for the year, the ministry said.
The data also showed that in December 2021, the total time for customs clearance of imported goods was 32.97 hours, while the time for customs clearance of export goods reached 1.23 hours, reducing by 66% and 90%, respectively, compared to 2017, RIA Novosti reports.
Recall that China's foreign trade turnover in 2021 increased by 21.4% year-on-year to 39.1 trillion yuan.
