The Chinese government will accelerate pilot projects to stimulate trade and economic development and strengthen the openness of Hainan Province.This was stated by Chinese President Xi Jinping.
"China will conduct accelerated tests on the territory of the experimental zones and the Hainan Free trade port to ensure a high degree of openness," he stressed, speaking with a video message at the opening of the 4th China International Exhibition of Imported Goods (CIIE).
According to Xi Jinping, the Chinese authorities intend to actively promote the formation of a new mechanism in the field of cross-border trade in services, which will facilitate the lifting of restrictions for foreign companies. "Reforms and innovations are continuously being carried out in experimental zones, foreign investment access [to the Chinese market] is constantly expanding, the business atmosphere continues to improve," he added.
