Altai producers exported a batch of wheat flour to Hong Kong for the first time. According to the Federal Center for Agricultural Product Safety and Quality Assessment, the supply volume amounted to about 2 thousand tons, and the shipment opens up a new sales route to China for processors in the region.
Before shipment, the specialists of the laboratory of the Altai branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "CC APK" conducted a comprehensive study of products for compliance with the requirements of the importing country. The flour was tested for pesticides, toxic elements, mycotoxins, radionuclides and GMOs, as well as for the absence of pest infestation. According to the test results, the batch fully complied with the terms of the export contract.
The cargo was shipped by rail from Topchikhinsky district to the port of Vladivostok, from where it will be delivered by sea to Hong Kong. The center noted that grain products from the Altai Territory had not previously been supplied to this region of China.
