Applications for the volunteer corps of the X Russian-Chinese Youth Summer Games are continuing, and more than 1,000 people from different regions of Russia have already confirmed their willingness to participate in organizing the international event. This was announced by Evgenia Demina, director of the Kaliningrad Volunteer Center, at a press conference.
According to her, despite the difficult international situation, Russia continues to hold large-scale events with foreign partners, and the upcoming games will be one of the key events in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Kaliningrad region. The volunteers will be involved in accompanying the delegations, working at sports facilities and in the accommodation of participants.
The main requirements for candidates are residence in Russia and proficiency in the Russian language, while knowledge of Chinese is welcome. Among the applicants there are also students of Chinese origin studying at Russian universities. The Games will be held from May 24 to 31, 2026, and about 300 athletes from Russia and China will compete for medals in 12 sports.
