According to Izvestia's sources, Chinese manufacturers have informed retail chains and distributors about the planned price increase in February. The most noticeable growth is expected in the middle and upper price segments, and devices with updated prices will be available in March and April.
According to the interlocutors of the publication, smartphones will rise in price by an average of 15-30%, depending on the brand, series and amount of internal memory. Another source clarified that for individual vendors, the growth may be 20-30%, and it will be especially sensitive for budget models where memory occupies a significant share of the cost.
Commercial Director of Refrigerator.<url>" Alexey Pogudalov confirmed that the price change is planned for March–April 2026 and is estimated at 10-20%. A representative of one of the Chinese manufacturers also told Izvestia that purchase prices had increased back in December 2025 and all new batches of devices for the Russian market were already being supplied at a higher cost.
