The new facility in Shanghai will be able to produce up to 100,000 robotic joints per year.

The Chinese company Eyou Robot Technology has commissioned the world's first specialized robotics factory for humanoid workers. This was reported by the South China Morning Post newspaper, noting that this proposal is widespread.

According to the publication, the design capacity of the plant is up to 100 thousand joints per year, while in the future the company expects to triple production. Eyou Robot technology emphasizes that joints form almost half of the cost of a single humanoid robot, which makes them a key element of mass production.

The expansion of production facilities is designed to strengthen the company's position in the market as it prepares for the mass introduction of humanoid robots. As previously reported by Chinese scientists and the media, China is actively developing new robotic limbs and has already begun using humanoid robots on industrial production lines.
