Russia has taken the initiative to deepen cooperation with China in the field of medical equipment through the creation of joint ventures. This was stated by Alexey Dakhnovsky, Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in China, at a specialized conference in Beijing on the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of medical products and technology.
According to him, Russia is implementing new national technological leadership projects aimed at accelerating the development of high-tech industries. Their successful implementation requires closer coordination between government and business, as well as expanded industrial cooperation with friendly countries, primarily China.
Dakhnovsky stressed that Moscow proposes to move away from the model of simple purchase and sale and move towards industrial integration, including the creation of joint ventures. Russia, he noted, is open to Chinese companies that are ready to localize the production of medical equipment on their territory.
