Speaking at the plenary session of the VI Russian-Chinese Media Forum in Beijing, Fu Hua stated Xinhua's readiness to share technological capabilities with Russian partners and jointly discuss journalism standards in the era of artificial intelligence. According to him, the media of the two countries should resist the spread of fakes and rumors using new digital tools.
The head of the agency stressed that media cooperation is developing within the framework of strategic cooperation between Moscow and Beijing, recalling more than 40 meetings between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin. He noted that Xinhua continues to serve as a link, having released over 35,000 materials on the Russian feed this year alone.
Fu Hua paid special attention to the preservation of historical memory, pointing to joint photo exhibitions with Russian partners in Beijing and St. Petersburg. According to him, such projects demonstrate the common position of China and Russia in protecting historical truth and humanistic values.
