Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko said that the joint work of the Scientific Center for Expertise of Medical Products of the Ministry of Health and the National Institute for Food and Drug Control of the People's Republic of China has been successfully completed. The signing of the document is scheduled for the end of November. It will become a new stage in strengthening bilateral ties.
According to the minister, over 100 medicines from China, more than 600 Chinese substances and about 3,500 medical products have already been registered in Russia. According to him, this demonstrates the high level of mutual trust between the countries in the pharmaceutical sector.
Murashko also noted that cooperation is actively developing in the field of maternal and child health. The ongoing joint projects, he stressed, contribute to achieving historically low infant mortality rates in Russia and open up new opportunities for cooperation with China.
