According to him, Chinese universities and research centers are interested in creating joint programs in the field of digital currencies, interbank transaction algorithms and strategies that take into account political factors. The expert stressed that in the coming years we can expect a deepening of scientific cooperation between Russia and China in these areas.
Seleznev also noted that scientific ties between the two countries have been developing for decades and today serve as a solid foundation for new projects. In September, during President Vladimir Putin's visit to China, a number of documents were signed, including an agreement between Moscow State University and Peking University on the establishment of the Russian-Chinese Institute of Fundamental Research.
According to Marina Amurskaya, Head of the Department of International Business at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, mechanical engineering, energy and transport remain promising areas. She emphasized the interest in long-distance electricity transmission projects, high-speed railways, as well as joint training of specialists in economics, law, IT and artificial intelligence technologies.
