The organizers reported that Wang Xi has a rare vocal range — from deep velvety bass to high notes of the upper register. He graduated from the Shenyang Conservatory and is a member of the Chinese and Beijing Associations of Musicians, and also received a professional education at Liaoning College of Arts with a degree in pop singing.
During his career, Wang Xi has received numerous awards, including "Artist of the Year" and "Most Influential Singer" awards, and also received a gold medal at the China Music Golden Bell Awards in 2011. He has participated in the QQ Music Heartbeat Awards and Sina Fashion Style Awards, which has cemented his status as one of the most prominent performers in the Chinese pop scene.
The revived Intervision will be held on September 20, 2025 in Moscow and will bring together participants from 20 countries, including all BRICS countries. Russia will be represented at the competition by Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Yaroslav Dronov (Shaman), and TASS will act as the information partner of the event.
