China plans to simplify cross-border transportation and expand tourist exchange with Russia.

The Chinese authorities are ready to facilitate the movement of citizens between China and Russia, as well as increase the volume of tourist trips. This was announced by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian, commenting on the prospects for the development of transport infrastructure between the two countries. According to him, Beijing intends to strengthen cooperation in the field of passenger and freight transportation.

The diplomat stressed that the parties plan to use the potential of cross-border routes to increase the mobility of citizens. In particular, we are talking about increasing the number of tourists, developing transport corridors and deepening bilateral ties. Beijing sees these steps as part of a comprehensive strategic partnership with Moscow in a "new era."

According to Lin Jian, under the strategic leadership of the leaders of the two countries, cooperation in the transport sector is developing steadily and efficiently. He noted that significant progress has been made in cross-border infrastructure, and mutually beneficial cooperation continues to deepen. Against this background, the development of the M-12 Vostok highway continues in Russia, one of the sections of which was recently opened with the participation of President Vladimir Putin.
