A new passenger bus line between Vladivostok and Yanji has officially started operating, according to the government of Primorsky Krai. The length of the route is almost 400 kilometers, of which more than 270 km pass through Russia and about 128 km through China.
The representative office of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Vladivostok noted that the launch of the route reflects the growing demand for tourist trips, cross-border trade and the development of tourism infrastructure between the Far East and northeast China.
According to the Primorye authorities, the region continues to strengthen its position as one of the leaders in cultural and economic cooperation with China. It is expected that the new transport line will contribute to the further expansion of bilateral cooperation. The project was implemented with the support of the Ministry of International and Foreign Economic Relations of Primorye and the Office of Checkpoints of Jilin Province.
