China has supplied 480 million doses of coronavirus vaccines to other countries.This was said by the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Wang Wenbin.
The vaccine was received by about 100 countries in which the Chinese vaccines Sinopharm and Sinovac are approved for use.
Wang Wenbin noted that China has sent lot of doses of the vaccine to many countries. In his opinion, vaccines against COVID-19 should be available to everyone.
The representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry called on all states to promote the fair distribution of vaccines in the world. He also said that Beijing intends to allocate another 10 million doses of the vaccine for the international COVAX initiative.
It should be noted that according to the terms of the COVAX initiative, led by WHO, high-income countries pay for the purchase of vaccines for states with low per capita incomes.
