Chinese President Xi Jinping said that China and Latin American countries stand for genuine multilateralism and fairness in international affairs. He stressed that the countries are jointly promoting global governance reform and supporting a multipolar world order. In particular, the Chinese leader recalled the six points on the political settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, agreed upon by China and Brazil and supported by more than 110 countries.
According to Xi Jinping, China's cooperation with Latin America is based on equality, mutual benefit and a win-win approach. He stressed that these relations are characterized by openness and inclusivity, contribute to the growth of the well-being of peoples and have significant potential for development.
Xi Jinping noted that Beijing, together with Latin American partners, intends to contribute to solving acute global issues. China views cooperation with the region as crucial and strategic, and attaches great importance to the continuous strengthening of bilateral ties.
