The Chinese company Unitree Robotics plans to introduce its robotic solutions in various sectors of the country's economy by 2026. This was announced by the company's sales director Lin Zhilong at the China International Consumer Goods Exhibition in Haikou. According to him, robots can begin to be actively used in services such as the police, fire and rescue units. However, according to Lin Zhilong, it will be several more years before the company will be able to mass-sell robots to consumers.

Unitree Robotics is actively working to improve its robots so that they can perform more complex tasks. In the coming years, the company will focus on improving the stability of androids and the accuracy of their navigation. Lin Zhilong noted that by 2026-2028, the problem of accurate navigation can be solved, and by 2028-2034, coordination of vision and hand movements. In addition, robots must learn to navigate complex spaces. In the future, they will be able to be used in energy facilities, the petrochemical industry, metallurgy, construction sites, household and agriculture.

China is showing rapid growth in the field of robotics. According to the State Administration for Market Regulation of the People's Republic of China, by the end of 2024, the number of enterprises in the intelligent robot industry exceeded 451 thousand. The China International Consumer Goods Exhibition, which takes place at the Hainan International Exhibition Center, plays an important role in this process. It provides a platform for Chinese and foreign companies to enter international markets, contributing to the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
