China urges the United States to abandon unjustified suppression of Chinese companies

Экономик

This was stated at a briefing by the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Guo Jiakun.

The politician made the statement, commenting on the decision of the US Department of Commerce to expand the sanctions list, including companies from China. He called on the United States to stop generalizing the concept of national security and to stop politicizing and using trade, economic and technological issues as a weapon.

In addition, America should stop unjustifiably suppressing businesses through sanctions lists, Guo Jiakun believes. China will protect the legitimate interests of companies from China, said the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

Earlier, the US Department of Commerce imposed export restrictions against 70 companies from China, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, Iran and Pakistan. The U.S. government has declared these companies to be operating contrary to the interests of national security or U.S. foreign policy.
