On February 28, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu in Beijing. The sides discussed bilateral security issues, as well as international and regional issues.
According to the Chinese Foreign Minister, countries should defend the results of the Second World War and the historical truth. Wang Yi also noted that the powers should maintain world peace and promote the development of our planet.
Sergei Shoigu, in turn, said that cooperation between Russia and China is not directed against other countries and is a model of relations between the two great powers of the world. Cooperation is based on a broad community of interests, equality and deep trust, he stressed.
