According to the press service, the event will be held on February 28 in Xi'an, the central city of China's Shaanxi Province, as part of the cross-Cultural Years of Russia and China. The festivities will take place on the main pedestrian street of the city.
Citizens will be able to attend a concert by the Krinitsa Cossack song ensemble, a performance by animators and a fair of Russian goods, as well as taste real Russian pancake pancakes, the press service of Boris Titov, Special Representative of the President of Russia for Relations with International organizations for achieving Sustainable Development Goals, said.
The celebration is organized by the Russian-Chinese Friendship, Peace and Development Committee with the support of the Shaanxi Government, the Russian Embassy in China and the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing. The celebration in Xi'an is taking place for the second year in a row. Last year it fell on March 17th and was also accompanied by an extensive concert and entertainment program of artists from Russia.
