According to Mao Ning, the anti-espionage law is aimed at real cases of threat, and not at innocent ordinary companies. It will not affect regular trade, economic and investment activities, the politician said.
The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also noted that Beijing maintains a high degree of openness towards the outside world and makes efforts to provide foreign companies with a market-oriented business environment, the rule of law and internationalization.
Foreign companies do not need to worry about the anti-espionage law if their managers in China act in accordance with legal norms, Mao Ning stressed.
