Thirty-seven new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified among those who arrived at the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing over the past day, according to the website of the organizing committee of the competition.A total of 1,252 people arrived in China for the Games on January 30, 622 of them were athletes and team representatives. According to the results of PCR testing at the airport, 28 cases of infection were detected (eight cases among athletes and team members).
Also, nine people who arrived in Beijing earlier received positive test results during the day, four of them were athletes and team members.
The Olympic Games will be held in Beijing from February 4 to 20.
