Developments in the fields of e-commerce, artificial intelligence, transport and digital healthcare were presented at the World Digital Trade Exhibition in Hangzhou.

About 2,000 companies from 154 countries and regions of the world took part in the expo. Eight thematic zones were organized on an area of more than 150,000 square meters, ranging from e—commerce and digital entertainment to medicine and smart vehicles. The audience was particularly interested in humanoid robots from Chinese manufacturers, which demonstrated martial arts, dancing and playing musical instruments.

A separate pavilion of the exhibition was dedicated to the new generation of transport. Manufacturers presented electric cars with artificial intelligence, unmanned aerial vehicles for vertical takeoff and landing, as well as autonomous vessels. Large areas of the expo were occupied by e—commerce and fintech platforms, with Alibaba, Amazon, Wildberries and Ozon among the participants.

The exhibition runs from 25 to 29 September. It was visited by a Russian delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko. The Russian ministers stressed that Moscow and Beijing see great potential in cooperation in the fields of digitalization and in the development of electronic commerce.
